The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) provides an academic and clinical professional education for students whose primary goal is to serve children and adults who have impairments of communication. Originating at the University in 1934, our program is proud of its history as one of the oldest and most distinguished preparatory programs in the United States.
Our nationally accredited clinical graduate programs in audiology and speech-language pathology prepare students for careers as audiologists and speech-language pathologists who provide evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and hearing disorders in hospitals, schools, and private practice settings.
Please consider donating to the Department of CSD. Thanks to sponsors like you, we can provide our students with opportunities they might not receive at other institutions. Thank you for supporting our Shockers in their education, and in furthering their careers.
On September 17th, the entire Shocker community will come together and support the colleges, departments, programs, student organizations and teams they love. Join the thousands of Shocker alumni, students, employees, parents and friends who are honoring our past and investing in our future to make a positive difference in our college and community.
