Support The Campus Recreation Student Development

Campus Recreation has an endowment that supports one of our department values: development. This fund offers student employees and student leaders an opportunity to receive financial support to attend trainings, seminars, webinars, or to complete certifications/re-certification, and/or participate in and represent Wichita State University at regional or national conferences. Student recipients of these awards return to the department with new knowledge, improved proficiencies and technical abilities, and enhanced leadership skills. This translates to a committed employee and helps prepare students for careers beyond university life.

Campus Activities and Recreation impacts thousands of students annually through the creation and execution of programs and services. The department supports student leaders, athletes and over 100 student employees throughout each year. This endowment aids in the continual development of leadership skills and technical abilities beyond the scope of their roles in preparation for their future careers.
