You don’t have to be thinking about helping others on your special day that is all about you… but you are! The money you raise by asking for donations instead of gifts this year will be put to use immediately. Here is how to get started:
STEP 1:
Click “Become a Fundraiser” to register online. Customize your very own fundraising page in just a few minutes and make sure to communicate why this mission is so important to you.
STEP 2:
Share with your friends and family via email, text, and social media. Many of your loved ones will be glad to support a cause you are passionate about in honor of your birthday. Share with your network why this mission is important to you and ask for donations in lieu of gifts in advance of your special day.
STEP 3:
It's your day! Enjoy your birthday knowing that you are making a huge impact. You will receive an email every time someone makes a donation to your birthday campaign to add to your celebrations.
