Last year’s Giving Tuesday funds went towards upgrading practice equipment. The wrestling team had another astounding year.

Here are some of the accomplishments: 

• Mitch Dean and Connor Weeks were selected to the All-Conference team.
• Mitch Dean and John Carayiannis earned All-American Honors. 
• Mitch Dean earned the best individual finish in program history with 4th at the Division II National championship.
• The Wrestling team is ranked 3rd in the NCAA Division II Super Regional preseason Rankings.

This year with your support, the Wrestling team will build on the successes of last year and take their game to the next level. Coach Kenn Caudell is asking for support for Facility Enhancements such as practice mats and updated boards in the practice facility.

If you make a gift of $1,000 or more or support any of our Abbey Athletics team with a monthly donation than you join our exclusive Champions Club. Champions Club members receive a limited-edition sports jacket complete with your Champions Club member patch. Additional benefits for the Champions Club include custom content from our Sports & Virtue Institute, discounts at our sponsor establishments, and much more.

Prepare Abbey Sports team to compete at the highest level 

This Giving Tuesday, you can be the reason our student athletes are able to pursue their passions and grow in virtue through playing sports at Belmont Abbey College. 

Sports have long played an important role in our campus life, and they are continue to do so today. In fact, over 800 Abbey students … two-thirds of our student body … are currently participating in 41 programs. 

We invite you to take a look at your favorite sport’s team page and see some specific things they are fundraising for on Giving Tuesday.

Most importantly, your gift will have an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of our student athletes—ensuring they go on to a great career and full life built upon a sound moral and spiritual foundation.
